Since 1931, the Angels have won an incredible 45 Wisconsin State Championships and 127 conference titles. The SCHS boys basketball team has been one of the most dominant teams in the state of Wisconsin during the last decade having won five state championships in the last seven seasons.

Athletics News Summer Volleyball Camp at SCHSGirls' varsity volleyball coach Katie Olson will conduct her volleyball camp this summer from July 22-24 at SCHS.
The camp has both beginner and intermediate levels and is open to boys and girls in grades 5-9. The boys' camp will take place June 17-28 and the girls' camp will take place July 1-12. Berkowitz Making Impact at Loras Former Angel Erik Berkowitz is making his presence felt as a shutdown defender for the University of Loras.The Duhawks (17-1-1) are currently ranked no. 4 in the country in Division III. Berkowitz, a junior, has started 16 of 19 games for Loras. He's netted seven goals on the season and is third on the team with 15 points. Update 11/26/12: Berkowitz scores game winner, sends Loras to NCAA Division 3 Final Four. Former Soccer Coach Hired at UW-WhitewaterFormer boys' and girls' soccer coach Tony Guinn has been named men's varsity coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

On Thursday, October 27, the three men were inducted into the Racine County Sports Hall of Fame as members of the Hall's inaugural class. The athletes were honored with a ceremony at the Racine Marriott. There is also a display honoring Chones, Mertens and McIlvaine at the Racine County Heritage Museum.
